Welcome! (About)

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5:11

*Special Note About Changes: If you have followed my blog for a while, you may have noticed that it has shifted in content – moving from a devotional style of blogging to more of a focus on discernment. It was not my initial intention to change the content (or the name), yet, here we are. To learn more about the changes, please read my Discernment Unfolding post, HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!

My name is Allison Westling and I am a fully surrendered follower of Christ, wife, mother, writer (yes, in that order).

While my writing is not polished or refined, it is honest and straight from the heart. You will find no perfection, here. I simply share what I feel the Lord places on my heart as I navigate through a fallen world as a redeemed child of God. He is AWESOME and GOOD! And I hope as you read through these posts, you are able to see God’s glory shine through my feeble attempts to point to Him.

Haha…I would have been offended if someone asked me if I’m affiliated with the heretic Rodney Howard Browne.

Thank you for the post about false music.
I am on a search about false teachers and music for some time now.

You “accuse” the writers of worshipping a different God but give no examples. You say they are contradicting God’s word, but give no examples. Interested in what you perceive as anti Christian in these songs.
