Yesterday was a super-blessed day! My husband and I had the pleasure of watching a sweet couple get married and then we sent our oldest son off to his first prom!
It was a day that extended well past midnight, so I did not wake up quite as early as I was hoping to. I was a little disappointed since Saturday is usually the only day that I get to spend extended time in the Word, worship and prayer – uninterrupted by our busy morning routine. What little bit of time I did have, this morning, was spent fighting the urge to continuously look at the prom pictures of my handsome young man and his radiantly beautiful girl. I feel blessed beyond words…but it is definitely intermingled with the ache of not being able to slow down time. So, I try to treasure these precious moments.
Today, since we have been on the theme of light, I thought I might share a Dreams and Mysteries episode on the Mystery of Light. This episode is a bit on the technical side – and very interesting (at least, I think so). So please watch and enjoy! There are teaching notes available to the right of the video. Be blessed…and I’ll see you tomorrow for Sunday praise and worship!
*The winner of this week’s challenge is Kimberly Drummond!! Kim shared Philippians 4:6-7 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
This is one of my favorites, too. Thank you, Kim, for sharing!
